Learn how to make a copy of a Jotboard whiteboard, including the option to share it with the same people.
How to duplicate a board
Duplicating a board creates an independent copy with all the same content. This is useful for creating templates or giving each student their own version of a board.
Steps to duplicate
- Open the board you want to copy, or find it on the home page.
- Click the three-dot menu.
- Select Make a copy.
- Optionally rename the copy (the default name is “Copy of [original name]”).
- Choose whether to share with the same people as the original board.
- Click Copy to create the duplicate.
You’ll be redirected to the new board automatically.
Tips
- Use this to create a template board and then duplicate it for each class or group.
- If you share a board link with the
?copyparameter, visitors will be prompted to make their own copy when they open it.
