Learn how to rename a Jotboard whiteboard from the board header or the home page.

How to rename a board

New boards are called “Untitled board” by default. You’ll want to give them a descriptive name so you can find them easily later.

Renaming from the board

1. Open the board.
2. Click the board name in the header at the top of the screen.
3. Type your new name.
4. Press Enter or click away to save.

Renaming from the home page

1. Find the board on the home page.
2. Click the three-dot menu on the board card.
3. Select Rename.
4. Type the new name and confirm.

Tips

• Use descriptive names that include the subject, date, or class — for example, “Maths - Fractions - Year 5” or “Team Brainstorm - Q3 Planning”.
• A good naming convention makes it much easier to find boards later using the search feature.
