How to change drawing colour

All drawing tools in Jotboard share the same colour palette. You can switch colours at any time while drawing.

Available colours

  • Black — The default colour, suitable for most writing and drawing.
  • Blue — Great for annotations and highlighting key points.
  • Green — Useful for marking correct answers or positive feedback.
  • White — Ideal for writing on dark backgrounds like the chalkboard or blueboard.
  • Yellow — Works well for highlighting on white backgrounds.
  • Red — Perfect for corrections, emphasis, or marking important items.

Changing the colour

  1. Select any drawing tool (pen, marker, highlighter, or brush).
  2. The colour palette will appear in the toolbar.
  3. Click the colour you want to use.

Your colour selection is shared across all drawing tools — if you switch from pen to marker, the same colour will be used.
