Learn how to copy and paste sticky notes, text boxes, images, and shapes in Jotboard using keyboard shortcuts.

How to copy and paste objects

You can copy and paste any object on a Jotboard whiteboard, including sticky notes, text boxes, images, and shapes.

Copy an object

  1. Click on the object you want to copy to select it.
  2. Press Ctrl+C (or Cmd+C on Mac).

Paste an object

  1. Press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac).
  2. The copied object will appear on the current slide.

If you paste an object on the same slide where the original is located, the copy will be slightly offset so you can see both.

Paste between slides

You can copy an object on one slide and paste it on a different slide. Navigate to the target slide after copying, then paste.

Paste images from your clipboard

If you copy an image from another application or a website, you can paste it directly onto a Jotboard board. The image will be uploaded and added to the current slide.
