How to add a text box
Text boxes let you add typed text to your board — ideal for headings, labels, or longer written content.
Creating a text box
- Click the Text icon in the toolbar.
- Click and drag on the board to define the size and position of the text box.
- Start typing to enter your text.
- Click outside the text box when you’re done.
Editing a text box
- Double-click or press Enter on a selected text box to start editing.
- Click outside the text box or press Escape to finish editing.
Formatting options
When a text box is selected, the toolbar shows formatting options:
- Font size — Choose from Display, Title, Subtitle, Normal, or Caption.
- Alignment — Align text to the left, centre, or right.
- Colour — Choose from Black, Blue, Green, White, Yellow, or Red.
Deleting a text box
Select the text box and press Delete or Backspace, or use the three-dot menu and select Delete.
