How to add a text box

Text boxes let you add typed text to your board — ideal for headings, labels, or longer written content.

Creating a text box

  1. Click the Text icon in the toolbar.
  2. Click and drag on the board to define the size and position of the text box.
  3. Start typing to enter your text.
  4. Click outside the text box when you’re done.

Editing a text box

  • Double-click or press Enter on a selected text box to start editing.
  • Click outside the text box or press Escape to finish editing.

Formatting options

When a text box is selected, the toolbar shows formatting options:

  • Font size — Choose from Display, Title, Subtitle, Normal, or Caption.
  • Alignment — Align text to the left, centre, or right.
  • Colour — Choose from Black, Blue, Green, White, Yellow, or Red.

Deleting a text box

Select the text box and press Delete or Backspace, or use the three-dot menu and select Delete.
