Learn how to invite students, colleagues, or collaborators to your Jotboard whiteboard using email, a link, or a QR code.

How to share a board

There are several ways to invite people to collaborate on your board.

Share by email

  1. Open the board you want to share.
  2. Click the Share button in the top-right corner.
  3. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
  4. Choose a permission level: Viewer or Editor.
  5. Click Add to send the invitation.

Share by link

  1. Open the Share modal.
  2. Under General access, set the permission to Viewer or Editor. This allows anyone with the link to access the board.
  3. Click the Copy link button to copy the board link to your clipboard.
  4. Send the link to your students or collaborators.

Share by QR code

  1. Open the Share modal.
  2. Click the QR code button to generate a QR code for your board.
  3. Display the QR code on a projector or screen for students to scan with their devices.

Share with your team

If you have a team on Jotboard, you can share the board with your entire team at once. In the Share modal, you’ll see an option to share with your team and set their permission level.
