How to use the brush tool
The brush tool produces soft, wide strokes with low opacity. It’s useful for shading, filling areas, or creating soft backgrounds.
Getting started
- Click and hold the drawing tool icon in the toolbar to see all drawing tools.
- Select the Brush tool.
- Click and drag on the board to paint.
When to use the brush
- Shading or colouring areas of a drawing
- Creating soft background washes behind content
- Adding subtle emphasis without overpowering other elements
- Filling in shapes or diagrams with colour
