Learn how to use the marker tool in Jotboard for thicker, bolder strokes on your whiteboard.

How to use the marker tool

The marker tool produces thicker strokes than the pen tool, making it great for bold writing, headings, or drawing attention to key points.

Getting started

  1. Click and hold the drawing tool icon in the toolbar to see all drawing tools.
  2. Select the Marker tool.
  3. Click and drag on the board to draw.

Choosing a colour

The same six colours are available for all drawing tools: Black, Blue, Green, White, Yellow, and Red. Click a colour in the toolbar to switch.

When to use the marker

  • Writing headings or titles on the board
  • Circling or underlining important content
  • Drawing bold diagrams or illustrations
  • Any time you need a thicker line than the pen tool provides
